The 7th World Kungfu Championships 2017, Emeishan, Sichuan, China.

Yang Style Tai Chi Auckland NZ’s first student to compete in a world championships event, Satomi Taylor (pictured) winning a bronze medal in the 40 Forms Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan.

The 2017 NZ Wushu Team consisted of six competitors in 11 event categories and winning 1 gold, 4 silver and 4 bronze medals. David Wong winning a silver and bronze.

2017 has been a great year for our students in a six member team at the National Championships and winning silver (S) and bronze (B) medals.

Oceania Kung Fu Wushu Championships 2018, Melbourne.

Yang Style Tai Chi Auckland NZ had four members in the twenty strong NZ Wushu Team, to date the largest NZ team to participate overseas. Our members winning gold (G) and silver (S) medals: David Wong (G,S), Satomi Taylor (G,S), Beryl Plimbott (G,S), Rees Young (G).
